Work Description
Victofire Pyrox is an End To End Fire Alarm System for large infrastructure.
One Fire Alarm and Public Address Panel is installed for every building along with Modules, Smoke Detectors and Heat Detectors in every room of the apartment or office. Annunciation Devices (Hooters) are installed in the lobbies of buildings.
To identify where the fire has occurred the Fire ALarm Panel needs to know the exact point where Smoke Detector has been erected. This is called Address of the Smoke Detector or Module.
Whenever the Smoke Detector or Module detects smoke it sends the Address of the Smoke Detector or the Module to the Panel along with its status and this is how the Panel understands that there is fire in the Building.
For this, each Module and Detector has to be programmed with a Number and the same has to be seen in the Panel. Thus the communication between the Panels and the Detectors and Modules.
This is how large fire alarm systems are commissioned.
Fire Alarm Systems are Low Voltage Systems and any field interference with other systems causes systems to malfunction. Hence the cabling has to be checked in all the fronts to make sure that system data is not affected by other systems.
Then using IOT technology these panels are made to report to our web-server where we see how the system is functioning over a period of time.
The commissioning engineer has to carry on this entire work of commissioning the detectors and the modules at site. Each detector and module has to be programmed at site and its communication with the fire alarm panel has to be established.
He has to make sure that there is no signal interference from other systems and make sure that the entire system is properly functional and handed over to the customers.
The job involves site work and field work. The engineer may be required to travel to more than one site and commission the fire alarm systems in various buildings.
Qualification:
To apply for this job the Engineer BE/BTECH/ DIPLOMA HOLDER has to have a deep liking for core Technical Activity. The main activity involved is Commissioning and Troubleshooting. People who are looking for only office based software programming jobs should not apply for this position. Only people having good liking for Technical Activity - Electronics should apply for this job.
Internship Period for Freshers:
This profile is mainly for freshers.
Even Final Year Students who have completed their Course and are waiting for their results can also apply. Students who have their final exams pending are also eligible to apply for internship cum job appointment option. Every fresher has to mandatorily undergo 30 working days' internship where he would be put through On The Job Training and Formal Training. His appointment would be commence immediately after successful completion of this internship period. During the internship period the candidate shall be given stipend allowance of Rs 7000 for 30 working days without any other remuneration.
The candidates will be provided training through a set of videos made by the company solely for the purpose of training new employees on technical aspects of the Victofire system. In addition to this, candidates will also be provided onsite job training at our customer work sites. After this,candidates will be required to attend evaluation test through in house app ( Called "UTHAAN") which will have multiple choice type- objective questions and upon securing minimum 80%, candidates will be absorbed as a regular employee of the company and if the candidate fails the test, his internship will be extended by another maximum of 30 days. This test can be taken up multiple times during the Internship Period. The only requirement is that the candidate clears the assessment before the closure of the internship.
Training and Performance Assessment:
Training will be conducted as enumerated in previous paragraph. The performance of the candidate is assessed through the daily reports submitted by him through the reporting app called "Yashas".
In addition to technical training, the company also conducts soft skill training for its staff on a monthly basis.
Growth and Career:
Since the company is a works in the core technical domain candidates who join the organisation get rich technical exposure and skills.
After 3-4 years of commissioning experience the candidate can choose to build himself in two directions
- Technical Profile: In this route the Candidate who has very good technical acumen will progress in the Technical side of the business and will rise in position as Tech Lead, Regional Tech Lead and then System Architect, System Designer, Product Lead etc.
- Project Management: People who opt into this line will continue as Site Engineer, Site Manager, Project Manager, Regional Project Manager and so on ..
Package:
Based on the assessment by the technical team the CTC for Freshers would range from between Rs 2.04 lakhs to Rs. 3.2 lakhs. This will include a Variable Performance Pay of around Rs. 40,000 to Rs 60,000 which would be paid at the completion of the financial year. After 30 days' internship term, the candidate would be on probation for 6 months and after this candidate would be confirmed as a permanent employee of the company.
Office timings:
9.00 am to 6.00 pm Sundays
off.
Travel Reimbursement:
It would be required for the candidate to find out for himself an accommodation near the site which is allotted to him.
The cost of reaching the first site is part of CTC. If the candidate is required to travel to multiple sites then that cost would be reimbursed to him at actuals.
Candidate possessing two wheeler would be preferred.
The company has staff in multiple locations in India and hence it takes time to compute the salary details from all the sites. Generally salary is disbursed between the 15th-20th of the following month.
Place of Work:
Noida Ghaziabad and Gurgaon. All our sites are located in these regions and the candidate will be required to relocate to this place ot carry on his work related activities. Please note that candidate unwilling to relocate to a place near to the place of work would not be considered for this profile.
Interview Process:
After you submit the details in the form provided through the link at the top of this page, within 15 days, you will get a mail giving you the details of the date, time and place to present yourselves and give the written technical and aptitude tests.
This will be followed by the group discussions and interview. After clearing these rounds you will have to see through a set of technical videos which will be shown by us. This will be followed by another small test based on results of which the final selection will happen.
Employee Retention Policy:
The company expects the selected candidate to work with the company at least for a period of 2 years. if the candidate quits the company before completion of the 2 years’ tenure; unless there is substantial reason for the management to believe that the exit is due to very genuine reason, the company would have the discretion to mention such premature exit as a remark in the experience certificate.
The company does not follow any methods like Collecting the Certificates of candidates or signing a bond etc. The only retention strategy of the company is to give good technical knowledge and performance based incentives to the candidates.
